StudioJAED's leading-edge Managing Architecture (MA) Delivery System is ideal for clients with larger, multiple building capital construction projects in need of a program-driven approach to meet stringent project requirements and budgets. Traditional budget-driven approaches tend to divide design and implementation of programs on a building-by-building basis, which can sacrifice the potential for standardization, cost savings and subsequent operational improvements. StudioJAED's MA approach provides school districts with a single point of contact who will drive the design of building improvements established through educational planning, and/or facility assessment. As your MA, StudioJAED prepares preliminary designs for all projects, typically to the 50% Design Development (DD) level, and then transfers the designs to an area Architect of Record (AOR) for DD completion and the formulation of Construction Documents. This transition guarantees standardized design details, specifications and pre-purchased equipment to be utilized by multiple AORs. The result is an improved construction and construction inspection process resulting in significant cost savings to the client.
