Wilmington Trust Operations Center
- Project: Wilmington Trust Operations Center
- Square Footage: 240,000 square feet
- Scope of Work: Through a joint venture with RMJM Hillier, James R. Nelson, FAIA, NCARB, completed the Wilmington Trust Operations Center in downtown Wilmington, DE. The project requirements included designing interior space to house the credit processing divisions in a pleasant work environment, as well as an exterior which reflects solidity and stability. The building is also sensitive to its surrounding urban context and builds upon the stylistic forms already established in Wilmington's downtown core. All facades of the building are deeply articulated, producing a texture of arches, cornices, brackets, and pediments.
