- Scope of Work: StudioJAED is retained to plan a new 100,000 square foot County Administration Building to accommodate the government's rapid growth and expanded services. The feasibility study includes extensive end-user interviews, space planning studies, field assessment of the current facility, and master planning. The process resulted in a three-zoned facility which maximizes site orientation and access, as well as strategically locates specific departments relative to required accessibility to the general public. The hub of the building is the Council Chamber Room with a dominating and impressive presence both on the site and within the building. This component serves as the organizing element for the new facility and anchors the building while representing civic strength and stability.
